Erth Visual & Physical Inc. has vacated its workshop at Carriageworks to captain a brand new arts precinct in Marrickville. The multi-disciplinary company known for shows like Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo™ and Erth’s Prehistoric Aquarium, have been occupying space at the old Eveleigh rail yards since 1997, and have been a resident company since Carriageworks opened in 2007.

“We’ve seen ourselves evolve at Carriageworks and in turn our place within the building has become more significant. As we’ve grown we’ve pushed more and more against the confines of our physical walls. The time has come to move into a space that will better suit our ever-expanding activities. We are now releasing ourselves into the wild!” Artistic Director, Scott Wright.

“We’re creating affordable, functional space where artists and arts companies can work and be inspired.” Executive Producer, Gemma Pepper

Since its beginnings in 1990, the Company has carved out a niche providing audiences with eye popping visual experiences. Giant puppetry, stilt-walkers, inflatable environments, aerial and flying creatures. Erth is all these things and more. In demand for events and festivals, the Company inspires audiences with their unique and dynamic vision.

Erth are also raising funds to contribute to capital works at the new site through a crowd funding campaign through the Australian Cultural Fund or go directly to their website
