Festivals Australia supports community participation in, and access to, the arts and aims to support partnerships and collaboration across the sector.
Funding applications open: September 18, 2017 09:00 AEST and close October 20, 2017 17:00 AEDT
Funding is for projects commencing after 1 February 2018.
Festivals Australia funds high-quality arts and cultural heritage projects that invite community participation and audience engagement.
Projects can include but are not limited to a parade, performance, workshop, installation or exhibition.
The aim is to give community members living in regional or remote Australia the chance to participate in or attend an arts experience at a festival, or a significant one-off community celebration.Projects must be a single discrete activity, not a range of unrelated activities across a festival program.
All applications are assessed with the assistance of independent assessors.
