The NSW Government is excited to announce that applications to Round Three of the Liveable Communities Grants program are open! This Grants program is seeking to fund innovative and strategic projects that aim to make local communities more responsive to and inclusive of the needs of older people. Applications close Monday 20 November 2017. All applications must be submitted online through the SmartyGrants Portal.
Grant funding categories
In Round Three the program has a total of $1.3 million in funding available across three categories:
- Explore and scope: Up to $30,000
- Test and grow: Up to $60,000
- Replication and sustainability: Up to $100,000
Who can apply?
The program is open to non-government organisations, community organisations, universities, entrepreneurs, businesses and local councils based in NSW. For more information, including the selection criteria and terms and conditions, please read the Grant Guidelines.
Information sessions
Potential applicants are invited to attend an Information Session on Liveable Communities Round Three grants at four locations across NSW. The sessions will focus on what types of projects we’re looking to fund and tips for writing a stand-out grant entry. To register, clink on the links below:

NSW Creative Ageing Strategy – arts sector consultation
The NSW Government is also developing the NSW Creative Ageing Strategy. We are inviting organisations and individuals from the arts and cultural sector to participation in a consultation to help shape the Strategy. Come along share your knowledge and thoughts on potential gaps and opportunities for creative ageing across NSW.
