Writer – Director – Producer – Performer

I began my professional arts career in Brisbane and based myself there as a performer for over 20yrs before moving to Grafton, in the Northern Rivers of NSW a few years ago.

My acting experiences ranged from adult productions with the Queensland Theatre Company and La Boite theatre, to schools tours with the Qld Arts Council, short films and TV cameos.  Over a 7 year period, I also was producer / director / writer / performer on comedy cabaret shows which I performed in various Brisbane venues including at the Brisbane Festival.

I am a partner in a film production business, Cast Net Productions with my life partner Danny Loyden. We do creative video clips, short films, documentaries and are currently working on a multi-platform supernatural web series, The Parlour….which is about the dark truths that lie beneath the surface of our living world.

My creative passion is for self-generated works that engage the community and it’s arts workers in challenging, enjoyable and audience building directions.

I am also a volunteer committee member of a community theatre / venue, the wonderful Pelican Playhouse in South Grafton. My first production was The Other Side (A Cabaret Journey) as part of the first Culture on the Clarence and the 80th Jacaranda Festival. Very exciting!

What else can I tell you? I live in a house that used to be a funeral parlour.
I am very passionate about enhancing the cultural fabric of South Grafton, the Clarence Valley and the Northern Rivers.
I tap dance at a moderate level and currently my ‘day job’ is as a casual artist model for life drawing classes.
I am 48 years old and have 2 fur children.
