Hello to you all from Adelaide on the last afternoon of Australian Theatre Forum (ATF) 2017
It’s been a big few days for everyone participating in this event so TNN
thought it would take a few minutes to give you some of its highlights:
- Meeting with fellow board and colleagues of Theatre Network Australia on the Tuesday afternoon
- Plenty of networking and industry conversations around youth theatre, First Nations theatre, identity, wellbeing, audiences, creative processes, story telling and being the best that we can be…together
- Experiencing great theatre as part of Oz Asia Festival and learning from the directors and audiences of those shows
- Facilitating a session on Measuring and Advocating our Worth with Fraser Corfield and Nick Atkins and bringing back a suite of actions to implement back home in NSW
- Seeing such a diversity of NSW theatre makers and theatre companies at this National event
If you couldn’t get to this event, you don’t have to miss out though. The keynotes are being transcribed, the conversations were dutifully noted by scribes, and Arts Front and Arts Hub were there documenting and reporting. These resources will go onto the ATF website over the next week so keep checking in.
