From its early days as a group of business people wanting to contribute their skills in support of Artists to today’s annual program of seminars to strengthen the Arts sector, SAMAG wanted to celebrate its and its supporters contributions. SAMAG’s February seminar looks back at its successes but keeps an eye to the future by hosting a robust, insightful and humorous discussion about the future of the Arts in Sydney with a debate: The Arts in Sydney will be dead in 25 years.
Chaired by Zoe Norton Lodge, Co-creator The Checkout and Story Club, and with debaters including Roslyn Helper, Director, Underbelly Arts Festival, Dee Jefferson, Arts and Culture editor, Time Out Sydney, Board Member, PACT Centre for Emerging Artists, Nicholas Pickard, Director Communications and Government Relations, Copyright Agency Sara Saleh, Human rights and Refugee Advocate, grassroots activist, creative artist and media commentator.
SAMAG invites you to join them at Cake Wines Cellar Door on the evening of Monday 28 November to be part of this celebration.
Tickets are $30 or free for SAMAG Members and include a complimentary drink and refreshments.
