An informative, demystifying workshop for independent artists, companies and producers who are new to or getting a handle on performing arts touring in regional Australia. To present this event AOT is partnering with NAPACA and TNN.

Hear from NSW/ACT presenters, experienced tourers and the Arts on Tour team about:

  • Is my show tour-ready?
  • How do I sell my show? What are presenters looking for?
  • How do I build an itinerary, develop a touring budget and work out fees?
  • What grants can I apply for?
  • How to write a winning grant application
  • Arts on Tour services and AOT’s Community Presenter Touring Grant (CPTG)

The full program will be published 2 weeks before the event once the program is announced you’re welcome to cherry pick the sessions that are most relevant to you, but the full ticket price will still apply.

Arts on Tour brings culturally distinctive and resonant arts experiences to regional and remote towns across Australia. It is the peak body for performing arts touring in NSW and one of Australia’s most prolific touring organisations. Working with NSW-based producers and presenters nationally, our vision is for every community in Australia to have a creative pulse, made stronger by the arts experiences we bring.

NSW & ACT Performing Arts Centre Association (NAPACA) is the peak body for performing arts centres in NSW and the ACT.

Theatre Network NSW (TNN) is the peak agency for theatre in NSW that works in partnership with similar organisations to lead, strengthen and support the professional theatre industry by building capacity in the small-to-medium and independent sectors, and connecting and working with the major companies.

The ticket price covers your lunch and a drink after the workshop at 107 Projects’ downstairs bar.
Capacity is limited, so book now rather than later to avoid missing out.
We look forward to sharing the day with you!
